The Tree Plantation - A personal tribute

Tree laden with fruits
Can you identify the tree from its leaves or fruits?
Even if you can not, it does not matter to hundreds of birds, a few squirrels and numerous other insects for whom the tree is their home and food source.

Identify the fruits (June 2020)

Once a  lady had put a seed in a planter on the balcony. With her care, sprinkle of water laced with love, occasional sunshine, the seed germinated and took shape of a little sapling, bringing a patch of green in a concrete balcony. She was my mom-in-law.

Fruits in June 2023
One day in 2011, she left for heavenly abode, leaving everything behind. Subsequently, we planted the tender plant on a tiny piece of land within our housing society complex.

A picture was taken after a few years and the latest one when it has bore fruits.
A few years back (2020)

In the rainy season, I stood silently beneath the tree and heard the whisper of air through its deep foliage - “Mira Sen’, ‘Mira Sen’….
